While in undergrad I was a tutor to my classmates as well.

Started an Academic Achievement Program at USC in Chemistry and Biology, where I helped undergrads who were first in their family to go to college. I discussed the subject matter and also motivated them to keep at it. It is hard and you need to see where you are going, i do that with you.

In summer I was a tutor/counselor for Upward Bound Trio programs. These are federal programs that help high school seniors prepare for college. They came to live and study at USC under college environment so they learn to be away from home, deal with demanding schedule etc.

I teach you how to fish, know what you need to get through the course and how to use what you have mastered v.s. giving you fish, memorizing equation endlessly. I turn you into a Science Ninja.

It breaks my heart to see very bright students get bogged down memorizing things v.s. getting a better grip at concepts and loving the sciences. Steve Jobs and Bill gates, got a hold of the concepts and did not need to continue memorizing equations, they moved to apply what they had learnt.

I help reasearchers design, execute and troubleshoot Molecular Biology related research problems. I have talked to scientists at pretty much every institution you can think of.

Imagine your famed professor being stuck, admitting it and about to give up, but instead they call me and have a 15-30 minute discussion to help him with what he has been working on for weeks and months along with a few other scientists he employs.

Hobbies:

Analytics. I actually like looking at data. So I follow the stock Market and use technical analysis. I also am reading books on how social media, Apple and Google are reshapping our world.
