I tutored at Summit Tutoring Center in High School and I've learned a lot about how to tutor students in a productive yet interesting way. I've had to teach many different kids many different subjects and maintain a good relationship with the kids families and keep them updated on how they were doing. Through this tutoring center, I feel like I made a big difference in the lives of these kids as well as prepared myself for any tutoring opportunities in the future. Subjects I taught included high school level geometry, algebra, pre-calculus, english, history, and biology, as well as accounting. I want to be a tutor because before I decided to do accounting in college, my passion lied in education.
