| Education: | I graduated from San Jose State University in 2002, earning a B.S in computer science and minor in math. |
| Experience: | I have been tutoring math on a volunteer or professional capacity for three years. I started one-on-one tutoring math and chemistry at Foothill College in 2008, including algebra 2, pre-calculus, geometry, trigonometry. I am currently employed as a professional tutor. The subjects I taught includes prealgebra, algebra I, algebra II, precalculus, geometry, trigonometry, SAT(math), High school chemistry and AP chemistry. I can tutor either in your home or at a local library.
I am patient, caring, and have an easy-going but never-give-up attitude. I have had considerable success helping students figure out precisely what it is that they don't understand, and then finding a way to explain it that makes sense to each individual. I can make a difference in your approach to learning, solving problems and taking standardized tests. Group lessons are very welcomed, and an efficient way of sharing costs. For group of two, I charge $50/hr. For group of three, I charge $60/hr. Please feel free contact or text me for details: (650)861-1587 |
