I truly enjoy helping others master a subject they are having trouble understanding in order to help them achieve their goals. I like to get to know a student, as well as their styles of learning, what they struggle with, and their strongest aspects of learning. At that point, I can break down the material in a way that each student will understand, while still focusing on the skills and concepts of the subject. I have been tutoring and teaching others since I was in high school myself. I am able to work with students on all subjects at any grade and age level. I especially enjoy tutoring math, high school physics, and chemistry. I am also very proficient in preparing students for a number of standardized tests, including the ACT, SAT, and AP tests, and have a great track record of being able to improve the test scores of my students. I am able to work with students in many aspects of the SAT and ACT, including the SAT math, verbal, and writing portions, as well as ACT English, math, reading, science, and writing. I am from Newark, New Jersey, and graduated from UCLA. When I'm not teaching others, I enjoy cooking, sports, music, reading, and technology.
